The 2024 Supernova Ska Festival In Hampton Virgnia

The 2024 Supernova Ska Festival delivered on its value by once again providing attendees with as many New Bands & Artists as previous years along with an array of delicious food truck options & merchandise booths as previous Festivals years. It’s one of the most comfortable atmospheres you’ll find among other music festivals, providing lots of lawn seating & optional swimming for those willing to take a dive in the beautiful Buckroe Beach just feet from the Festival Grounds. I especially appreciate the no hassle access granted to attendees, like myself, to bring your own food and professional camera, for those hoping to capture better images than that of your normal cell phone. I also have to admit that the free parking is a plus, not to mention that the parking lots are close to the entrance, making it convenient to bring your lawn chairs and comfort items to make your Festival day comfortable and pleasant. Photos below included Bands presenting themselves on Friday, Saturday & Sunday such as Queen P (w/Rude Girl Revue), Coolidge, Los Skarnales, Catbite, The Kilograms, The Pioneers, Laura Jane Grace, Skavoovie & the Epitones, Inspector, Rude Girl Revue, The Planet Smashers, Mad Caddies, Doped Up Dollies, Mephiskapheles and Big D & the Kids Table. From The bands & Artists in this year’s Festival that certainly grabbed my attention for both a high level of energy and presence were The Skarnales, Laura Jane Grace (w/Catbite’s Brittany) & The Planet Smashers. Though I also throughly enjoyed performances by Queen P w/Rude Girl Revue, Mephiskapheles, Inspector, Big D and Eastern Standard Time.
